Once upon a time, there were a small village on the surface of the Morther Earth. But this village was not like any other, it was the most special among these small villages... the one thing that made it most unique was... A tree. This tree was not like other either, no, my friend, she was special just like her special village. She had... feelings. Ever since she was a little sapling, she was aware of her surroundings: she was aware of the sound of the wind blowing her leaves, she was aware of the smell of delicious pies made in the ovens of village... and most importantly, she was aware that she was alive. She thought she'd spent rest of her life content with being just a spectator in these grand scheme of things... until she wasn't. She was tired of not being able to move or walk, not being able to experience the goods of life, not being a human... Day by day, she felt even more lonely and even more unhappy than the day passed by. She didn't even care once the houses in her small village were crushed to dust by these weird yellow and orange things... she didn't even understand when they built a large bakery near her, she was too busy drowning in her own sorrow to even think that anything could be changed... Years after years, her visitors she got visitors from all around the place, yet there was one boy, who always spent his afternoons resting under her shadow. First, she didn't even noticed him. But after some time, she slowly grew fond of this small guy. He was funny, smart, polite... anything you could ever ask in a man, not only that, it was almost like he was able to read her thoughts because everytime she conjured a question, he would answer and react to it. It was to first time ever she had converstation with someone else other than herself, it was exciting. After some time, the boy and the tree fell inlove with eachother and in a single night, the boy made her the happiest tree Mother Earth ever seen, with a lovely wreath as their wedding ring. Life was truly a miracle... In a late night, a girl with blond hair and green eyes approached her, and start murmuring "Your time finally has come... my dear, it is time to leave your wood and enter your own skin" were her roots hearing it correctly? Was she really going to grant her only wish? "But, my dear, there is a small detail." Silence followed her words before she spoke again. "In order to be able to move, one must leave behind her cage." She was in a shock once more, how could the woman in front of her expect her to leave her everything behind? To leave her husband and the memories they shared together behind? How could she betray the only man she ever felt something for? Yet after a long moment of thinking, she realized, she was nothing but a motionless stone, in the lake of motion, even a chair of the bakery or the brick roof of the stupid library had more purpose to live... so in a moment, she agreed came on terms with the woman's deal and walked out, leaving everything behind... THE END
